I ordered two of these, one for me and one for a birthday present for a fellow photographer. I was so excited when they came and opened the box, pulled out my mug, touched the glued on plastic lens label with mm display and it fell off! I ran my finger across it because it had a cloudy fog across the plastic and it came off! I barely touched it! So I opened the other mug and it did the same exact thing. Then after taking a good look at both of them realized that the manufacturer put about 15 cents worth of quality in my $24.95 mug and it was a piece of junk. This is simply a novelty. The quality of this product in my opinion sucks. I have received free mugs at trade shows from companies giving them away with their logo's on them for free that were 100x the mug this thing is. So, all I can really do with it is keep gluing the sticker back on and leave it on a shelf. It says it's a travel mug, but you have to unscrew the entire cap off to take a drink, if you were to actually use it. Try that in traffic, your bound to have a coffee bath with one bump.

So, all it all its a novelty, totally nonfunctional in my book by a long shot. Sure would be nice if there were better pictures of it on the web so you can really see the poor quality before you pay $25 for junk. I was going to get the 70-200 thermos too, but after receiving this joke there is no way I would ever buy one again.

Beware, unless you want it to sit on a shelf in your office and look "neat".

I am very disappointed. I purchased this as a gift expecting a NIKON lens, instead I got a NICAN. The item description clearly states this is the Nikon lens coffee mug. If you are expecting the real Nikon lens coffee cup this is not it, keep looking. Hate that I purchased this as a gift and do not have the time to return it. If you want to sell the imitation lens put the picture of what you will be sending people and not something else. False advertising is not cool!!! I will be contacting the seller, but I am sure I will not get the actual product described.

Like another reviewer commented, this product has a very strange odor. I have had it for almost a week and still cannot get rid of the odor. I have used a couple of different eco-friendly methods that I know of and still have had no luck. If I don't put the lid on the odor seems to be gone, but as soon as the lid is on and the cup is closed up the odor is back as strong as ever. I really like the authentic look of the cup - it actually looks like a camera lens. If it ends up being an expensive desk ornament, then that's what it will have to be. Just hope I can get that ordor out and can use it as a cup.

Cup is advertised as "NIKON"...the cup I received says "NICAN"...what's up with that?! Says it's a travel mug, but there is no hole in the lid to drink through, and the cup also smells very strange even after multiple washings.

What a waste of MONEY!!! Useless!!! Unit has no sipping holes? Looks great but has no function! I had to drill two sipping holes to be able to use it. Save your money and buy a normal Mug.

This cup is a beautiful reproduction but is molded from rubber. You can not get the rubber smell to go away making it impossible to drink from it. The seal in the cap also gives the inside a smell that can't be washed away. An expensive pen and pencil holder.

Cool idea for a mug, but it constantly leaks. I spill my coffee on my self with drops all the time. There's no tiny hole so hot drinks pop when you open lid.

Don't waste your money on this mug. No way to drink out of it unless you remove the entire lid, plus it leaks when the lid is on. Also, the Nikon label came right off after a couple uses - very poor quality mug.
