charger for battery Dec 9, 2013
No charger came in the box. Without it the battery needs to be charged in the camera which is really inconvenient. Also the batteries do not have a long life when charged. If you are going for a full day shoot, you will need an extra battery of two. I found a charger with two extra batteries on Amazon for under $30. This has worked well for me. I think Nikon should have supplied those items with the camera. However, I would still purchase the camera again. I have owned several cameras in the past 60 years, and this has been the most convenient to use of any of them. The wide angle is good, the 42X telephoto is wonderful...I don't need to carry extra lenses. The setting are very easy to learn and use. All-in-all a great little camera.

I'm not exactly sure. I used a 32. However, I will say that this is the easiest and best camera I have ever used. I took it on safari this year and my photos were a good as those taken by others with massives interchangeable lenses. I highly recommend this camera.

No you can not do long exposure. I think the longest is 8 Sec. I wish it had longer exposure too but I Love the zoom.

The Coolpix P520 supports SDHC cards up to 32GB, and SDXC cards up to 128GB. It requires class 6 or higher. I am using a SanDisk Extreme SDHC UHS-1 (class 10) 32GB cards rated at 45mb/sec read/write speeds with excellent results. This is an awesome camera.

Yes, I have been pleasantly surprised that the pictures come out well with low light.
