this item costs too much. it is only a AC adapter. Come on! i spent 500 bucks on a digital camara and now i have to buy this if i don't want to use batteries. don't waste your cash

I use my ac adapter all the time - I primarily use the camera on a copy stand. Silly to use batteries in my case. Excellent product; I only wish I hadn't misplaced mine. I'm here to buy a replacement.
