I GOT THIS YESTERDAY, AND TRIED IT ON MY NIKON P 5000 PERFECT FIT, GREAT LOOKING LEATHER PROTECTION FOR MY LITTLE CAMERA........

Listed as a case for the Nikon Coolpix P7000. Unfortunately it is too small and, therefore unless for the purpose.

This case is well designed and has quality workmanship. I also appreciate that it is lightweight. The fact that it adds very little extra bulk to the camera makes it perfect for putting the camera in a pocket or purse.

This case is listed as fitting the Nikon P7000 camera. It does not. You can squeeze it in width-wise, but the cover doesn't even come close to closing. Do not order this case if you want to use it for a P7000.

Although, it is not clear from the picture, the bag is very useful. It is just a little bit larger than my new P5100. It is also useful for hanging to the belt.
My original battery is running good at this time. But I'm sure I'll need some extra time from the spare batteries that come with this set in near future.

Product info claimed the case fit Nikon P-- cameras. Not so. I bought the P90 and it doesn't begin to fit in case.

This Nikon 5813 leather case is a perfect fit for the Nikon P6000 compact camera. It does protect the camera from scratches and dust, but the padding is minimal, so it won't help if you drop the camera. The $5 price is a bargain for this good looking, well made case.

The Nikon 5879 fabric case is also a perfect fit for the P6000 camera and also costs $5. The fabric case has a little more padding and also a built-in battery pocket, so it is a little bigger and a little uglier.

The case works extremely well as a belt case. My only current hesitation is that I do no know how durable it will prove to be. My only criticism is that with the shipping I probably paid more than I should have (as compared to buying a non-Nikon case from Walmart).

The case is small and only covers the camera, There is no room for an extra battery. You are better served by buying a single extra battery and a better case.

I purchased this case with my coolpix camera in July of 06'. I love this case. It fits in my purse quite well. I can take it anywhere I go. It is always ready for me to grab. It fits all three of my cards and plastic cases that cover them with no problem. I use it all the time. It is leather and looks like new after almost 2 years. I am totally happy with it. Great Item.
