This kit is a great price, and it shipped on time. The D300 is worth the upgrade if you are currently using an older DSLR. The battery grip gives the camera more balance, especially when using a long telephoto lens. It also makes it much easier when shooting portrait mode with the extra shutter button and command wheels on the grip.

I upgraded from the Nikon D50 to this camera and there was a world of difference. The colors look right on and the new features like Active-D Lighting come in handy. Also the 51-point focus system really helps achieve sharpness on your subjects especially with people. This was ordered from Amazon.com via CametaCamera. They were both great.
