These are simply 52mm size filters that work with Nikon D40, 60, 90, etc. They are NOT Nikon filters. The item name is misleading. In product description, there is no where mention its real brand name. For this reason, I should have given it 0 starts. But it's cheap and it works as basic lens protector - so I give it 3 stars.

This is the perfect starter filter set for the D40 owner (or any brand having 52mm specs). The UV is indispensible protection for your camera's base lense. The Polarizing lense gives you clear, reflection-free shots through windows (e.g., historical sites, museum cases), and the Florescent is a nice complement to those environments with harsh, overhead lighting (when I remember to use it). This set is a great overall value compared with picking these up individually. The case is small, cushioned, and very practical.

Good product for $5.99, works well with my nikon D40 & a nikon 55-200 lens. I like the case it comes in, keeps the filters neatly in my camera bag.
