The Kit provided everything needed. the manual is good and makes quick opperation easy.
The resulting pictures are great.
Use of all the camera's features requirs use and reference to the manual.

Plenty of reviews of the camera going around so I will add that I love mine. I'm pretty much a newbie to DSLR's and this camera makes the transition easy. It is capable of professional level photo's using the supplied lens.

The extra items I feel are bonuses because most places sell the camera alone for this amount. All the additional items work well and its worth any small extra you pay if you need these items.

The camera itself is very professional. You can have your shooting experience be very automated, with auto-focus and many other features or you can have full manual control over every aspect of your photograph. The kit includes everything needed to start taking and experiencing wonderful photos. The spare battery is most beneficial and with the 16GB card and card reader you can shoot all day and not have to worry about running out of space. To be so hi-tech and professional the camera is very user-friendly. Although the lens provided is the basic for digital SLRs, it has a wide range of focus. If you know how to handle it, the lens provided can serve as a great zoom and a fantastic micro. But, if you're serious about photography I would think about upgrading the lens.
All in all it is probably the BEST photography bundle for new photographers or students. And with the "Nikon" label you know you're getting a quality camera and at around $600.00 it is by far the BEST deal on the internet. All I have to say is "GET IT, BEFORE IT IS GONE."

I bought this camera for my wife for Christmas. She absolutely loves it. We take this camera everywhere and use it just about everyday. The pictures are amazing!

The camera itself is fine. Their customer service... horrible.. I purposely ordered the black/silver version because I don't like the black/gold camera. The description here doesn't say it's black/gold and the pictures don't reflect that, either. So I placed the order.. But they sent me the wrong item (black/gold). I called their customer service and they said they'd refund shipping up to $16 for me to send the camera back(body only) so that they can exchange it for me. So I did. Several days later, their return dept called me and said that I was supposed to send both the camera body and the lens back cuz the regular version includes the lens already. Wow.. so I have to send it back(they refund this one up to $7) and wait for another week before they send out my camera. What a waste of time!
I'm a new to DSLR and thought this place has good reviews. Too disappointed..
