I was looking for a Nikon D90 Camera Kit. There were several attractive prices on-line. In the end, I selected Cameta Camera - though not the lowest advertised. I did try to purchase the Camera from the lowest price on-line vendor and got what I exprected - an attempt at a switch and bait and the usual run-around. So, I contacted Cameta Camera whose price was not much higher. The item was available (unlike the cheapest vendor), and a reciept was sent promptly. The Camera arrived in a few days and was exactly as advertised - new in the box. The free camera case exceeded my expectations by far! In short, this is a great camera and Cameta Camera is as relaible an on-line source as there is, IMHO. The camera, by the way, also exceeded my expectations. It have yet to encounter any situation in which it is lacking.

There was a lot of resistance from many trying to make me not buy it. One said it's not safe to buy online and another said SLR cams are for pros n not for beginners like me. I disregarded all of them n bought myself this wonderful piece from Nikon. I am a beginner n don't know ABC of photography and am a travel freak. all I had before was a simple point and shoot. Nikon D90 is one stop shop. It can take any kind of pic in any kind of lighting. If you are looking for an SLR that gives u really reliable and beautiful results and don't really do any underwater or in-rain wet photography- this is the product for you!! The small kit kind of bag from Nikon is really good and works as my hand bag as well. I carry some stuff like my goggles, stationary, book and also it's waterproof. I can be rest assured if the camera is inside this bag, it's safe n dry especially when I am around waterfalls. The one and only disadvantage is the portability. It's pretty big and has to be carried around but anyways that's a problem with any SLRs in market today!

The battery backup is just excellent. Sometimes I manage more than 2 trips with the one fully charged battery. I take about 4000 photos every trip at fine JPG setting and about 5 to 10 HD videos of average length of about 3 to 4 minutes. These are the comments from an average user - me. I will leave all the technical jargon to the pros - who - I'm sure have given their comments here....

Nikon D90 has helped capture the most wonderful moments of my life at home and while traveling. All I have to say is Thank You Nikon!! You are the best!!!

I am new to the DSLR experience and after wavering for 3 weeks I finally ordered this kit. If you are on the fence on what camera to buy...this is it! My first shots using this camera are impressive. Now I know it takes a photographer to make a great shot, but this camera does a lot of assistance. The kit is a full package leaving not much more to buy other than different lenses. I am extremely impressed with the D90 and this kit. Do yourself a favor and buy it. You will love it!

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves the camera. He saod there is more function on it than he can believe. The down side is that it will take you awhile to go through the book and learn what everything does.

This review is not about the product. Nikon D90 is without a doubt one of the best DSLR's available to amateur photographers. This review is about Cameta Camera. I placed an order during a holiday weekend. Few days later I had to cancel the order for personal reasons. I sent them an email and within few hours they canceled my order. Thank you Cameta Camera!! I will definitely use them again for my future orders.

I reviewed several models and brands before deciding to invest in the D90. Even though there is a new model in the market, current price, functionality and overall features. I am very pleased with the camera and its suitability. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

This is my first DSLR an I think I picked the right one. Cameta service was perfect and they provide the best price for this item; also the things provided whit the Nikon D90 are all you need. The lens is just great too.
