Can't get better. D90 has an awesome body & 18-200mm VR-II is the best available lens one can use for everyday life. Am Loving It

Great camera, a little heavy but its freaking awesome. The lens really gives this camera a whole new meaning of QUALITY photography.

BUY IT. plain and simple.

I purchased this kit a year ago for a cruise trip to asia. This set was fantastic. Plenty of memory for all my photos, the d90 performed flawlessly, and the 18-200mm lens was perfect for 95% of my vacation photography needs. To my pleasant surprise, it came with 2 batteries, apparently an extra battery is included, so useful! This was my first DSLR, but it was so easy to operate for a beginner with its automatic settings, with many more advanced manual features that one can use as they advance in knowledge. Before leaving on my trip, I did purchase additional optional items, like lens filters, several additional memory cards, a prime lens, a wide angle lens, a gorillapod tripod, and a sling type camera holster cover, but all of these were nice but not essential for my travels. In fact, I kept returning to the 18-200mm lens as my daily lens--it is by far the most versatile lens I had for travel photography. The HD video came in handy too--I had it running when the captain spoke over the ship speakers to calm the passengers during exceptionally heavy seas off the coast of South Korea. People were actually worried that the cruise ship would capsize! It makes for an interesting souvenir. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. This camera was exactly what I was hoping for--it does not disappoint!

The Nikon D90 does not only rate among the best semi-pro cameras but the color quality is simply amazing. In the pictures I've taken so far, you can see dust in statues, and the kind of details you might skip with your own eyes. It's just an amazing camera.

Me encanta esta cámara, la construcción, el diseño, la simplicidad y la calidad de las fotos. Yo amplio detalles en 200% y quedan perfectos, sin ruido. Para mi trabajo (artista pintor), uso el zoom 18 200mm y 70 300mm. La recomiendo ampliamente.

I bought it mainly to take portrait style photos of my wife's little models. Occasionally I use the video feature. This is one of the best SLR semi pro or adv. amateur in the market.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase or the customer service. Quick shipping plus the opportunity to buy the 18-200mm VR as the kit lens. The D90 is my first DSLR and it is serving me very well -- currently getting a lot of use out of it as part of a professional photography program. It has performed exceptionally well at night and in low light with landscapes and fireworks. I'll slowly be adding the best lenses I can afford, but I don't see any need to upgrade the camera body anytime soon. My next camera body purchase would be a professional grade Nikon.

I bought this camera for a recent trip to Germany. My pictures turned out wonderful! I have just returned from Greece and the pictures are spectatcular! I would recommend this camera to anyone! I love everything that came in the package and think it is worth the money!

I bought this camera couple of weeks ago,I am wedding photographer,so I am taking photos a lot. Living in Florida we get humid weather
and seems lke the camera lately been stop shooting and showing Error on the display,I have to remove the battery and putting back on
to have it work again. I might return it if this will keep doing it. I dunno yet if the problem is humidity or the camera. Still is a problem.
Lot of people say Nikon D80 did it a lot and I was worried about D90 and seems like they might have same issues.
If anybody might help with experiences ,let me pls know.Thank u.

NICE HOBBY CAMERA. GREAT PHOTOS AND IS EASY TO USE. WITH SO MANY LENSES AVAILABLE, YOU CAN TAKE JUST ABOUT ANY TYPE PICTURES YOU'D LIKE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANYONE SEEKING A GREAT, LIGHTWEIGHT, EASY TO CARRY SLR CAMERA.
