I bought this as a spare battery. It works. It charges like normal and seems to last as long as the included battery in my D90. But... every once in a while the camera will go dark as if it was completely without power. I then have to remove the battery and replace it and it will turn on again and function normally for an extended period of time.Not sure why it does this. Could be that it doesn't fit 100% and it shakes loose or something. I haven't missed a shot and I usually have two charged at a time with me when I go shooting. I would have given it 5 of 5 stars with out this problem, since these are cheaper than buying Nikon branded batteries. |
