I love taking pictures with it, and the video quality is amazing.

The feature set difference between the D3200 and D3300 is negligible, making the D3200 the better buy.

Still learning how to use so I can get out of using the auto modes.

I am amazed at this little bundle. If you are new and want a nice, inexpensive DSLR but are drowning/hesitating among all the options and prices, don't. Just buy this, you will not regret it. I picked up this refurb kit a month ago for $365, and I did a double take because I couldn't believe everything I was getting. I personally shoot with my trusty old D90 still, but this was for a specific project that needed a dedicated camera. I have to admit that this shoots way more reliably than my D90. It's focus is incredibly fast and the metering is Nikon perfect. It's amazing what half a decade in technology leads to both in quality and in price.

This D3200 bundle is the ideal camera for someone who is looking to step up from point-and-shoot cameras and phone snapshots and get started with digital photography. It is pretty full-featured and has amazing picture quality for a fraction of the cost of the more expensive models. Basically, this is a way to get into the hobby or dramatically improve the quality of your pictures without breaking the bank. I couldn't even tell that it was refurbished. It looked brand new to me. Not a scratch or a nick anywhere, and the LCD was bright and crystal clear. With this, you can produce stunning photos (and videos) without being reduced to tears if you drop it on accident or be too afraid to hand it to a friend/relative to take a picture for you. As is often said, having the best (read: most expensive) camera in the world is useless if you're too afraid to take it outside and take pictures.

The lens on this is a perfect first lens.

Just like brand new. No nicks, no dings, no wear whatsoever. I almost paid close to $600 at Best Buy before finding this DEAL on Amazon. This is an awesome camera at a fantastic price. Do yourself and your bank account a favor and buy one of these if DSLR is what you are looking for. You will be very pleased.

The camera came exactly as advertised with the 18-55mm kit lens included. This was purchased as a refurbished item and other than the exterior packaging from Nikon that clearly marked the camera as refurbished; the camera itself is undamaged. I am new to DLSR photography and I have found the auto and semi-manual settings easy to understand and the pictures I've taken so far have been great.

I love this camera. The quality of pictures I get is just amazing. Still learning how to use so I can get out of using the auto modes. Recommend getting the Nikon D3200 for Dummies to assist you with advancing your photographic skills. I got a refurbished unit and it was just like new. Very, very happy with my purchase.

I LOVE my camera! I got it just in time for my trip to Galapagos Island and was able to take AMAZING photos! No issues with the refurbished product, works just as well as a brand new product. Most of my friends pushed me towards Cannon, but I went with my gut by getting this Nikon and I am glad I did.

I purchased the Nikon D3200 with 18-55mm lens as a Christmas gift for my sister's boyfriend, who has an older Canon 40D SLR. He LOVES it, and I've "converted him to the Darkside." Even though his 40D is a good camera in its own right, the more modern technology, better out of camera color, and menu system of the Nikon D3200 have re-ignited his love of photography. The D3200 is being phased out at the moment, resulting in great bargains for camera and lens kits.

With the capability to do both video and still photography, the D3200 is a great step for budding filmmakers and family photographers. The quality of the images far surpasses what can be done with a cell phone camera, but at the cost of more weight and larger physical size. The ability to change lenses to suit a particular situation is a huge plus, as well as the ability to control exposure.

The camera itself has a nice large screen on the back, a pop-up flash, and the ability to be used in all the camera modes you'd expect from full manual control to aperture or shutter automation to a program mode that turns the camera into a point and shoot machine. A helpful guide feature in the menu system greatly assists inexperienced photographers, and the large screen on the back makes it easy to see camera settings (although I prefer a screen on the top panel, which this camera lacks). You can shoot at up to 4 frames per second, which is as fast as expensive film cameras of the 1980's.

The drawbacks for this camera include its smaller size, which may not accomodate some large handed shooters; settings which can only be accessed via the menu instead of a dedicated button; and the fact that the newer D3300 offers improved performance and reduced size for about $100 more.

So far so good. Never a huge referb fan but after about 2 weeks and 1000 photos I'm very happy. Nikon is quality and the camera looks and acts brand new. If your on the fence, pull the trigger...you won't regret it.
