Nikon Fabric Carry Case for Nikon Coolpix P80 and L100

I bought this bag for my FANTASTIC new Nikon P80. Well, the camera fits in the bag, but there's no space for my extra battery, or for the lens cleaning pen (which I also bought).

However: this is the worst purchase I've made all year.
Why? The bag is poorly made. You could buy almost any other bag, and it would be better quality than this.
-The quality of the fabric is nothing like the fabric used in Lowepro bags (for instance).
-The padding is so thin to be almost non-existent.
-The bag looks cheap.
-The top doesn't fit the rest of the bag properly, so if it rains, your camera will get soaked.
-No strap.
-This bag is much more expensive than anything similar on the market.

I bought a little Lowepro bag for much less than the price I paid for this bag, and am using that instead. I suggest you do the same.

I thought I'd get the fabric case for my newly-purchased Nikon Coolpix camera and that was a mistake. Fortunately not too costly. What I hadn't realized was that case didn't have a strap for over-the-shoulder use, nor is it large enough to carry accessories. A bit of a waste of time really as it's totally impractical. I'd advise getting a "proper" camera bag.

Perfect fit for my coolpix L110. I wish it had a strap. There are slots for the straps on the camera so you can use the camera strap while the camera is in the case. But when you are using the camera the case is strapless and in the way.

The camera fits the Favbric case perfectly, I certainly did not want a case that I needed to hang around my neck, just a pouch that could fit in my backpack. This case fit my needs perfectly. Also has enough room for a SD card, a USB drive, an AV cable and 4 AA batteries.
All in all, a great buy.

I was extremely disappointed with this case. What is the sense of having a camera case with no strap?!?! I wanted to immediately return it but that was more costly than the case itself so I'm stuck with it. Now I have to go purchase something more useful for my new camera. What a waste of a purchase.

I thought this bag was useful for the Nikon P100 because on the amazon review said most people buy it with P100. But I was suprised when it arrived, that in doesn't fit.

This was a worthless purchase - recommended when I purchased the Nikon Cololpix P100. There was no way the camera could fit into the camera bag. And it woulfd cost more to return so I ate the cost.

The Nikon fabric carrycase was exactly what I wanted. It protects the camera without being bulky. Doesn't take up too much space in my purse or can be carried around the neck using the neckband on the camera.

Holds the camera well but needs a belt strap for ease of carrying the camera.

I love this camera case. I am using it for my Nikon L105. It is exactly what I wanted. I just wanted a very compact case for the camera so that I could still fit it in my purse. It's perfect. I looked a several electronics stores trying to find a case that was compact enough to fit in my purse. And this case does have space for SD cards & batteries. I don't need a shoulder strap for it because I am just putting it in my purse, but the fact that it doesn't have a shoulder strap may be a negative for some people. For me the case works great!
