I bought this camera about a year ago and I love it. I didn't have much money so I bought this Nikon camera, but even though it is so inexpensive, it is an excellent camera. It never gives me those red-eyed pictures. My pictures are always really clear.So for those people out there who want a good, inexpensive, reliable camera , I would recommend this camera. That's just my little ol' opinion.:)

The camera works great! I would say it will work best for someone who wants a no fess type camera. I do however have one concern. When I purchased this camera, I saw no mention of it being a refurbished item. The one I received appears to be so, at least according to the stamp on the warranty card that changes the 1 year warranty to a 90 Day Warranty because it is refurbished. So check before you buy.

It serves the purpose for taking photos. I still like having photos in my hand rather than on-line.

This item was pretty hard to find. I needed something basic and old school for my mom. She barely got a computer that gathers more dust than use. She was very happy with the gift. So it served its purpose well.

I have experience some difficulty with this camera feeding film and rewinding. On the first roll I shot, the film got stuck at the end of the roll. I was able to rewind it by pressing the automatice rewind button. The pictures came out okay!
Additionally, the snap the holds the battery door on the bottom of the camara doesn't work well and the batteries keep falling out. I had to tape it shut. Overall, this is a low quality camara.

The camera looks extremely well made. Automatic everything. The shutter button is positioned nicely and someone with arthritic fingers can use this camera easily. It is a Fixed-focus (FF) camera that does not require re-adjusting your focus position at close range the way all of the Auto-focus (AF) cameras do. Very user friendly. Very, very easy to use. Nikon is known as a world class lens manufacturer and the pictures you get rate accordingly. The case is beautiful. It's a classy piece of work.

Got this to give for a christmas present. After opening up the packing box, the box that the camera was in was dented in and had razor cuts on the outside of the box. Went to put film and batteries in and noticed that Red Flash light stayed on at all times. The flash fired at all times and would not shut off. DEFECTIVE Camera. Called the company MTA Trading, and they said it was defective and to send it back. I told them to just Credit back the money, I did not want another camera.They gave me the RA# and I sent it back. Now, I get a notification that they recieved the camera back and they are sending me another camera via UPS!! When I returned the camera I even put a letter in the box stating I Did NOT want another camera and to please just credit the amount back. Now I have a UPS notification that a package is on the way. This is not what I stated or what we had agreed on!! I am very Unhappy at this point, to say the least! MTA trading does not seem to communicate or keep their word!!I just want my money back (as stated by phone and letter) for the defective camera..
Have ordered many times from Amazon and never had a problem until now.
