This is a pretty good battery from Nikon. I use it on my D3. It saves me from the trouble of having to charge when I am traveling or in the field. I run with 3 of those babies and I go shooting days without having to worry about charging a battery. It goes for ever and is just great. Get only Nikon original and don't get other brands they don't work as well some not even remotely close. Happy shooting!

They don't give these things away, but if you're a professional or a serious ametuer, they're worth the cost. I recently completed a flying trip to the Nebraska Pine Ridge, Yellowstone, and the Tetons and took hundreds of captures without ever having to recharge batteries. Not having to hookup chargers every night on the road, is a great convenience and one less hassel.

This is the only battery I trust in my D3. It's genuine Nikon, lasts a long time, and feeds appropriate battery level information to the camera. And Amazon's price and service can't be beat.

I have had it with after market replacements. They just don't work!
