5.0 out of 5 stars Great info for first time Digital SLR Owner, March 28, 2008

Contrary to the other reviews here, I found this to be very helpful and provide good info. However, I am a first-time Digital SLR owner, not having used an SLR since a film camera many, many years ago. I had forgotten everything taught to me in photography classes many years ago. I received this DVD in a bundle that also included the Nikon D60, which is similarly an excellent product.

1.0 out of 5 stars VERY. VERY, VERY Basic info!, January 15, 2008
This review is from: Nikon School DVD "Fast, Fun and Easy" (Electronics)
I am not a pro nor a beginner photographer. I love taking shots at whatever I think will make a nice picture.

Nikon should give this away or include it with your camera. This DVD contains very basic information like: how to turn on/off your camera, how to focus, a tiny bit of advance settings, etc...

You will get better information on Understanding Digital Photography DVD. I am glad I only paid $5 for it! :-)

The DVD moves too fast for a neophyte using a Digital camera. Probably OK for someone that is more advanced.
