This Nikon Teleconverter works extremely well with the Panasonic Lumix FZ30 12X superzoom camera to produce very sharp images at an effective focal length over 700mm . You'll also need a B+W 55mm to 60mm step-up ring, but the total investment is worth it. Purchased at Willoughby's through Amazon.Com at a great price with quick, professional delivery.

I highly recommend this teleconverter for the Nikon Coolpix 8800 camera owners. Anyone interested in nature shots will enjoy the added range. It is an excellent Nikkor lens that will greatly extend your photographic reach with little or no noticable distortion. You will need good sunlight to achieve best results. Recently, I upgraded to an SLR and have since learned to appreciate this low cost solution. The Nikon SLR alternatives are very expensive by comparision. Pros will are likely make the substantial investment, whereas a caual shooter is unlikely to spend thousands for similar results.

This is a beautiful, high quality peice of equipment, and feels very well made. It weights three times as much as the Panasonic FZ-7 that I attached it to, but the aluminum Pemaraal snout and B+W 55-60E adapter ring mount it solidly on the camera. The whole assembly feels sturdy and is comfortable to carry and use. I recommend the Nikon HN-13 hood for this teleconverter. You will feel proud to have this lens on your camera. Hopefully more of these will become available.
