Easy on the eyes.,

Having several pairs of high end binoculars I have arrived (finally) at the conclusion that qualitative differences are at best subjective. Whereas the Pentax's "snap" into focus, Minox HG's require more effort but ultimately arrive at an image that is every bit as sharp (if not sharper) after fine tuning the focus knob. The effort required in focusing the Nikons is somewhere in between. The strength of the Nikons is in their contrast and in the complete lack of eye fatigue experienced after extended viewing. In short, they are "easy on the eyes".
