Nikon L120 and memory card " sandisk extreme pro" Nikon COOLPIX L120 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 21x NIKKOR Wide-Angle Optical Zoom Lens and 3-Inch LCD (Black)

I am buying a Nikon L120 and the specs say if using a SanDisk (SDHC) Extreme Pro memory card, it should be "with firmware upgrade". What does this mean and how do I determine if card has this?

You are wasting your money... Your camera can do video to the best of its own ability with just the Sandisk Ultra SDHC cards. That's what I use.

I have been using the Sandisk Ultra SDHC Class 4 8GB and it worked fine, but it takes a couple seconds for it to record the picture after I have taken it. I just bought the Sandisk Ultra SDHC Class 6 8GB and the camera says that it is not formatted. It does not work for some reason. Both the cards are exactly the same, except my newer card is Class 6. Does anyone know the problem or have the same one?
