No need for a mounting bracket. Niles have flaps that flip out to sit on the drywall. The speakers are amazing. I use them in my morning room and dining room. They have a directional tweeter for optimal sound distribution. I really like. But them on Amazon to save money. The speakers I bought were brand new and aren't knock-offs.

I was skeptical about ordering these speakers as I never heard them in person before purchasing them...just based my decision on the few reviews I found on Amazon, other sites, and Niles Audio's reputation. I ordered two pair for a total of 4 speakers...two for the back surrounds and two for the fronts. I was blown away when I turned them on. The highs are unbelievably crisp and clear and the lows aren't too bad either. It didn't matter how loud I turned the volume up they never sounded distorted or lost any of their crisp, clear sound. Another nice feature is the directional tweeters...up to 20 degrees in any direction. I would highly recommend these speakers if you are looking for a nice pair of in ceiling speakers.

These are a great option - especially considering what the AV shops try to convince you to get. If you are worried about directional tweeters - look no further.
