Anastasia Rabiyah was born in 1973 in Alamogordo, New Mexico, land of enchantment. Always an overly imaginitive child, her first memory is of finger painting in preschool a large orange work with many thick layers. When she was four years old, her family moved to Phoenix, Arizona. She grew up in a suburban neighborhood where all of her closest friends were boys. Anastasia loved fantasy games with swords, capes, and imaginary dragons. Many after school evenings were played in the makeshift wooden pirate ship in her neighbor's backyard. The ship also doubled as a spacecraft for journeys to other worlds.
When she was nine, her family moved yet again to Tucson, Arizona. There she lived in a small residential neighborhood amidst the lush wildlife of the Sonoran Desert. She spent her free time studying the animals near her parents' home, and often bringing creatures in to live at her house for a time. Always a tom-boy, she was fascinated by reptiles and insects. She also enjoyed creative writing and art.
After high school, she attended Pima Community College, and then took a correspondence writing course. Her first romance publication was Rope, published in August 2007 by loveyoudivine with many more stories to follow.
She resides in Tucson with her husband and three children.
