This documentary shows rural life at it's best. Having just moved to Michigan's UP, I thought I should check it out... absolutely loved it!! You'll get totally drawn into the simpler lives led in this little rural town (btw- it's an HOUR drive to the nearest McDonalds!) It reminds me that life doesn't have to be so strssful and over-scheduled.. I would recommend anyone take the time to watch this series.

My husband and I stumbled across "Nimrod Nation" when it was being aired on Sundance. My husband is a "yooper" so we are quite familiar with the "U.P." and watching this show was like going home for us. It is very family friendly, engaging, and fun to watch. Go Nimrods!
