Many people don't know about this stuff, but I've been taking it since ever since I can remember in China. When you dilute it in water and sip it, it opens up your throat and soothes it and doesn't taste nearly as bad as it looks. It can be taken directly, and I've never taken anything better. All natural ingredients, no preservatives. I take this when I lose my voice and/or have a sore throat. Swear by this stuff, I wish more people knew about it.

I received this syrup from a friend, after I've tried NyQuil, DayQuil, Mucinex, and Delsym. This was the only product that stopped my coughing, especially at night. I was finally able to sleep well. I'm not a fan of syrups, because I don't like the taste, but this tasted like fruit (I'm assuming that's due to the loquat). I wasn't too thrilled about how thick the syrup is, but I got over it.

this is the best cough syrup EVER! I was introduced to this in college when I often got sick, and coughed violently through the night and got no sleep. no amount of honey lemon tea was helping, but this syrup did after my friend handed it to me in the lecture hall during class one day. one of my roommates used to eat it like candies. yes, it also tastes great! however, what's up with that price? It should only be $5.99 at ranch 99. The price on amazon is a rip off.

I first had this product in Japan, and was pleasantly surprised to see it on here, when I needed it desperately! It is a singer's saving grace, if you have a sore throat! Works very well in hot water or on it's own. If you have a sore throat, are feeling a bit raspy, need your nasal passages opened up a bit, are coughing and need relief, and want something that also tastes pleasant enough.....then get this! It will definitely sooth! Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa is AMAZING!!! Which reminds me...I need to order more...

This product really works, I had to get it for a friend of mine. I grew up in Hong Kong and my family and I would normally use this as a natural remedy for cough and respiratory ailments. It works like a charm. Of course, like most herbal-good-for-you stuff, it tastes pretty awful but you eventually get used to it. The thickness of the syrup also doesn't quite suit my fancy but you can dilute it in warm water. In spite of the taste (of course, this is subjective to each), I would still highly recommend this because it seriously works better than any cough syrup in the market. I even recommended this to my boss one day and within a few hours, he was no longer coughing up phlegm. He still sounded like a frog though. (Not because of the medicine! LOL)

This is the only throat coat/relief syrup that has actually worked for me. The relief it provides is almost immediate and long lasting. I would highly recommend to anyone with chronic throat dryness.

This cough syrup is great! Been using it for years at Kerrville Folk Festival. Cleans your lungs out in just a few days and tastes delicious (like loquats). I loooove this stuff! I'm always recommending it to my friends when they get a nasty cough.

Ok, it doesn't actually suppress coughing, but it makes my throat less irritated and I cough less. I haven't had such an annoying cough since I was a little kid. I came across this product by accident, and I remembered my mom giving me this stuff as a kid. I didn't want weird chemicals and decided to give this a try. OMG, it feels so good to have a painful throat coated by this syrup. I think it loosens the phlegm too, making it easier to cough it out. You don't need to cough as hard and further damaging your throat. For me, it completely removed the painfulness that I experienced when I wasn't coughing. Try it. It's natural, and it feels makes you feel so much better. I'm glad I gave this a try. I'm not even taking anything else.

Just a couple of weeks ago I had the sorest throat I've ever had...I couldn't eat or drink hardly anything (lived on chicken broth for 3 days). The only medicine that worked at all was this sore throat syrup. It really coats the throat, making it much less raw and painful. However, the downside (as is the case with most syrups) is that it doesn't last long. The soothing effects lasted me maybe an hour before I needed more. Oh well, at least it worked temporarily when nothing else worked at all. Oh, and it tasted pretty good too.

This cough syrup works wonders. There is also a Herbal Candy which is great for a scratchy throat. Tastes good too!
