This is an amazing book. But, I can't read it because it is printed in German. Tons and tons of great photo's though. Hold out until an english version comes out. And, every copy is not signed by Nina.

Well the very first time I saw Nina was some kinda magic for me!
She came to Rio to the ROCK IN RIO concert and she was back to Brazil this time to my home town Recife, Brazil.
Since then I collect everything I can from her. This book is the best there is for real fans, Nina actually is a pure artist, she has the gift. I really admire and worship her.
The book is very heavy and complete; for those who really appreciate her work this book is such a must.
Don't let it go, buy it a.s.a.p.

Yes, this is almost entirely in German but for the Nina Hagen fan this book is ESSENTIAL. The book is massive in size and bulk at over 500 pages and includes everything you could ever want from Nina Hagen (if only it came with a CD). Baby pictures, family photos, promotional photos, concert reviews, clippings, concert photos...it's got everything! There is a conversation with Nina Hagen and her current (?) love interest in the book written in English that's fairly substantial and interesting. Face it, the book won't be coming out in English, so make an investment and buy this edition. I bought mine directly from a German seller and got it at a significant savings (about $50 including shipping) so search the internet for this book if you are avoiding it because of the Amazon seller price. It's truly amazing and worth what they are currently charging. Plus it may inspire you to learn some German, and learning new things is always nice.

This book tells you of one of the worlds best voices, Nina Hagen. Punk Diva, with looks created by a genius. Mohawked opera artist details her life in Germany as a youn woman who turns into an individual icon. Marcel Fiegel co-writes this book nicley. Great pics of Nina all over the world. This a collectors item as Nina signs all books with an authentecity page. This book is huge with many pics of all the important people in Nina/s life. Great coffe table book. Punks not dead.
