Product Description

The DogTwister is a challenging and fun game for you and your active pet. You hide the treats in the depressions under the blocks and your pet finds them by moving one block after another in a circular direction. By locking the blocks with the bone pegs you can add more difficulty.

This is a good activity to help the dog work and problem solve, and I highly recommend it.

What I really like about the game is that it allows you to start easy, allowing the dog to learn and then make it more difficult throughout.
Moni Loza
The bad thing about this toy is that those little plastic bone pieces you can put on to make it harder are a choking hazard.

This is a cool toy. Our dog really loves it. She is a German Shepherd and gets bored easy, so it keeps her entertained. The bad thing about this toy is that those little plastic bone pieces you can put on to make it harder are a choking hazard. I put some on and our dog removed one and starting chewing on it like she was going to swallow it. I pulled it out of her mouth as fast as I could so she didn't choke. If she had tried to swallow it, she would have choked for sure because of the shape of the piece. It's a good toy, but be careful of those bone pieces especially if you have a larger dog that could choke on them.

My dog is still getting the hang of the Twister but it's a fun way to interact and watch your dog learn how to solve problems. While I realize this is a product from the UK, the instructional DVD really should be in Region 1 format for units sold in the US. The DVD I got was in PAL -> not cool

My Maltese love this toy. However they figured it out quickly. More difficult than Tornado & definitely harder to do than the Brick. It is amazing how fast they learned & were able to do the necessary steps to get the treats from the compartments. My Maltese weigh 4.8LBS. & 6.8LBS. & are 11 & 12 years very young, so any size or age dogs can learn to play.

My chocolate lab mastered this in a matter of hours. My yellow lab is working on it. When they get in their restless moods, instead of chewing on my shoestrings or trying to hop on my lap while on the computer. I place this on the floor. Saves me and my sneakers.

My 7 year old Shepard is challenged by this toy and is mentally tired out after I feed him dinner by playing Twister. If you have a high energy dog this is great tool to mentally exhaust. This is his second puzzle and I highly recommend!

This is the 4th Nina Ottosson game I've bought for my dog. Twister is more challenging than I thought it would be, which is nice. Right now, he's learning to do it with only one of two bones. I'll add more in as he gets better at it.

I see a lot of people complaining that the dog chews the little plastic bones. Here's how to avoid this problem. Put a treat under each bone. Sit with him while he plays. Make sure he drops the bone to eat the treat, then immediately take the bone away and direct him to the next part of the game. Don't leave these pieces around for the dog to chew.

I don't let my dog play any one Ottosson game more than one day per week so he doesn't get bored of them. He also has Tornado, Brick, and Casino, so I rotate them. They're all extremely well-made toys, but they are not meant to be left with the dog to play alone. They are meant for human-dog interaction.

My Siberian Husky loves this product. However, the "bone" pieces were no match for him...he chewed the ends to pieces the first day, so now they won't fit in the puzzle. If your dog is a good chewer, maybe putting bitter tasting stuff on the ends of the pegs would prevent this (too late for me). Disappointing because it is so expensive and also because the dog loved it. He has not destroyed the main part...I still put treats in the triangular sections for him and he gets a kick out of it.

I love the Dog Twister game. I purchased another Nina Ottoson game, the Dog Casino, and my dog can solve that in less than two minutes. The Dog Twister is harder. It took her a bit of time to understand it, and it occupies her for a full five minutes! This is definitely one of the more difficult interactive games, but she loves them and loves working at solving them. She gets very excited when I hide the bits of food in the games. This is a good activity to help the dog work and problem solve, and I highly recommend it.
