Nine's second album for her new label Colpix, Nina Simone At Town Hall was largely recorded in concert at New York City's Town Hall on 15 September 1959. Some of the songs featured in the concert were subsequently re-recorded in a studio the following month, with the album being released before the year was out. --This text refers to an alternate Audio CD edition.

That's all I really have to say about this performance. I bought this on vinyl and it is absolutely, positively, ... WOW! I can't even begin to describe how beautiful this is. It will make your heart melt! If you love music that is soft, romantic, and just plain beyond words beautiful then you will love this and should buy it immediately. I promise you that you will not be disappointed. Of course if you are a true Nina Simone fan you already probably own this and know what I am talking about.

Highlights include every song on the album. Don't hesitate, order it now and you will be in awe and very, very pleased. This is a five-star no brainer.
