From the Publisher

Nine Deadly Venoms will enlighten, inspire and entertain.

Nine Deadly Venoms has been referred to as "the autobiography of an urban shaman" – however in many ways it’s much more than that.

From his daunting childhood to the urban shamans first steps into manhood, he is on a journey of enlightenment. He learns many valuable and important lessons throughout his life, a mysterious woman named Lilith teaches him many of these lessons. As the book unfolds the urban shaman shares these secrets and lessons with you. Lilith tells him about the nine Deadly Venoms. These are man made poisons. They are the nine tests, nine gateways and nine stumbling blocks on the road to power, the road to everlasting life. The truth has been hidden from humanity for thousand’s years by the controlling powers – the time has come for you to be set free.

From the Inside Flap

Nine Deadly Venoms, A blueprint for a better life:

"The less useless baggage that you carry, the lighter and faster you will travel. You will travel to a place where there are no tears, no sickness, no guilt, no fear and no pain, but you must start now, for the good Earth is turning, ever turning, the sky is ever changing, and you must not waste one moment"

Helping you to unlearn that which is not good for you.

‘Reclaim your power,’ she said loudly and coldly. ‘God did not write the holy books. Brutal men wrote them, and they wrote them to serve their own purposes and in doing so they cursed people, good people, forever. Then they sat back laughing, imagining that their position was unassailable, but now I am back!

Get off the Wheel, Be Wise, Move On, Become Part of the Dance of Life

" Driven by some primitive and passionate energy, she revealed the nine deadly venoms. ‘Conquer them and you live forever, but beware!’ She said with a wicked leer, ‘each one is indeed a venom, the worst kind of poison and is very, very deadly."

I love how the author gets out of the way and allows her to say her piece which becomes shocking revelations for those who have not been paying attention.

Nine Deadly Venoms...staying alive in the 21st Century- a blueprint for a better life is funny, deep and practical. Alex Gordon has wit, and uses humour and insight by mouth of Lilith to reveal the dangers and trap holes of modern life and how to conquer them.

The book explains dangers (venoms) I wasn't even aware of. As a reader I felt encouraged and supported to step on the road I thought I had walked already. Not a book for the lazy ones. But very rewarding when you really want to know, and life changing. It is fresh and vibrant every time I read it.

After reading the book I sold my extensive library, keeping a few books, of which Nine Deadly Venoms is number 1. What a relief. Thank you Alex, thank you Lilith.

(Also called A Book of Discovery, original subtitle The autobiography of an urban shaman)

I found this book truly inspiring, as well as entertaining. It is wrote in a clear and humble manner. I have read a lot of 'new age' books and many I have found seem rather pretentious, or they make issues too complex and goals seem unreachable. This book is straightforward and gets to the point.

It definitely prodded my deeper self as it gives some powerful insights into the world around us, and enlightens us to what really is going on. This book is a definate must for anyone who wants to make a difference to themselves and thus to our planet. It is both empowering and enlightening, and certainly makes you think!. Great stuff!

I was originally put off by the cover, the gothic look and a boringly predictable disparaging appearance of Lilith portrayed as an "evil woman", dark hair, dark eyes, no nonsense.....seen as "evil" to fearful ones, unfortunately. But this book was finally gifted to me by a woman who knew I needed to have it in my hands to read the information contained within. I was blown away by the refreshing and uncensored vernacular of this woman Lilith, and found nothing wicked about her at all. For example, this comment: "It is Lilith who reveals the Nine Deadly Venoms. 'Conquer them and you live forever, but beware!' She said with a wicked leer, 'each one is indeed a venom, the worst kind of poison and is very, very deadly."
sooo......A "wicked lear" in speaking/revealing the evil being done to humanity is "wicked"? This is so theatrically lame. There is NOTHING WICKED about Lilith.

I wanted to hear all she had to say. It was like finally finding some one who is sane, and speaks truthfully my own lifetime observations and I wanted to sit at her feet and listen. TRUTH has that effect. Her information and recitation of what has happened on this planet due to psychopathic patriarchy is clearly summarized and put up for plain site. Investigation is encouraged.

I loved her no nonsense way and total lack of "political correctness" sadly common to entire societies of brainwashed masses. She brushes all this silliness off with a laugh and speaks in plain language without the twisting deceit of skilled liars. She does this purposely to be clear to even thickheaded ones who only need the basics in English language 101, understanding full well that language steeped in lawyer lingo has been used as a tool to dumb down the masses so she does us all a favor with her simplicity.
