The lack of faith Sam carried with him for years had never given him reason to pause, not even for a moment, until tragedy on a rain-slick road rearranged his life, and his son's, permanently. As Sam drudges through life as a widower and single parent, concepts form that lead him to believe the tragedy of a few months prior may not have been an accident, but instead a design of fate he had somehow evaded. As everyday life revolves around him, Sam begins to experience ominous events pointing to the reality of what might have been... his own death. Eventually, Sam's lack of faith is exchanged for fear as he concludes that it is not his life that is in jeopardy but quite possibly his soul. With guidance from a close friend of the family, Sam journeys south to a city known for its passion of the supernatural and occult. There he finds a more menacing presence that throws his being into chaos and threatens the very lives of the people around him.
Frank Say (F. Say) has spent most of his life in South Western Pennsylvania. A few years back Frank had an odd but exciting idea for a story and would tell his future wife about his idea. After hearing the story several times, she finally said, "Well, why don't you do something about it?" With no formal training in journalism or writing and no one else interested in the idea other than him, Frank began compiling an outline. The outline quickly grew into three hand written marble composition note books with scenes, characters and chapters. That was back in 2001.
The name of that story was Nine Lives and after completion of that process, Frank came to a wonderful conclusion: He absolutely loved writing!
Nine Lives was published in 2008. Not slowing down, Frank began work on his second novel, The Thirteenth Sign which will be the start of a new series, "The Lake Pontchartrain Mysteries" and continue in the genre of paranormal fiction.
Recently listed in the 2010 edition of "50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading" produced by The Author's Show, Frank is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, he currently lives in South Western Pennsylvania with his wife and cat.
