Marguerite Smolen is the author of The Birthing Cycle: What a Woman Needs to Know About Her Pregnancy and the best-selling The Bride's Year Ahead. She is a former contributing editor to Parents magazine's Expecting Magazine, where she wrote a column on fetal development. She is the author of several books about life events: weddings and pregnancy. Carol Ross is a photographer who specializes in capturing life s special moments, like those seen in her last book, The Bride's Year Ahead.
