5.0 out of 5 stars This Kicks ASKA!!!!
Looking for a band that isn't worried about image and 'hype'? Well you just found it. Aska has to be one of the best REAL metal acts around. Nine Tongues is obviously this band's best effort to date. Highlights are 'The Stalker', 'The Question', and my personal fav 'Blood Of The Wolf'. Each song on the album is able to create a feeling that sets itself apart from the...

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't bother with this one!
Unless you're already a fan of ASKA don't waste your time on this. The first song starts out rocking pretty well but it's all down hill from there. This isn't heavy metal, it's average rock with some boring fillers thrown in. Thank god I only paid $4 for a used copy. It was gone in less than two weeks.

Highlights are 'The Stalker', 'The Question', and my personal fav 'Blood Of The Wolf'. Each song on the album is able to create a feeling that sets itself apart from the others yet it can all still be called ASKA. It's nothing but crunching riffs, old school metal vocals, and amazing song writing throughout and all done with no concern for trends or the mainstream. I hope Amazon decides to offer their earlier releases as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is TRUE Metal--the way it SHOULD BE!, June 17, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Nine Tongues (Audio CD)
I'm not much on words, but this CD is simply awesome. It reminds me of the glory days of Metal. I hear all of my favorite bands in ASKA. It's like having AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and KISS all rolled into one. Sounds crazy, but it works SO WELL! If you're a fan of any of these bands I just mentioned, do yourself a favor and buy this disc now!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rocking...., March 21, 2003

Man, I love it when I hear a new band that just blows me away! Bought Avenger after hearing the track "Crown of Thorns" on Hard Rock Radio. Then I bought Nine Tongues. Love it and I will be hitting the whole catalog. "Blood of The Wolf" & "Killashandra" are killer tracks. Pick it up if you love hard rock!!!

This is gonna be short and to the point. I was completely FLOORED when I got my copy of this NINE TONGUES cd. I had to scoop my jaw from up off the floor. Awesome, traditional Metal/Rock!! Consider me a fan as I intend to get everything thing else they ever put out!!!
