I originally bought this purse as a bag to carry my netbook (a 10" laptop computer) through the airport in. I also planned on using it to carry my computer elsewhere too, so I needed one that would be big, but not a huge tote bag. I chose this bag, and it was a good choice!

So why a 4/5? Well, despite its good looks, most of that leather-looking strapping is actually fake. The only real leather is located on the inside of the top lip, just above the zipper for the large main compartment. That wouldn't be such a huge deal, but it would have been nice if even the shoulder straps had been real leather so they might be a little more comfortable on the shoulder. They are however, the perfect length for me personally... long enough that I don't have to struggle to swing it onto my shoulder, but not too long that I have to worry about pickpockets.

Other than the fakeness, it's a great bag. The zipper pulls are unique and useful. The rivets through the plastic straps all over the bag give it a sturdy, durable feel. The inside compartments are handy without getting in the way. And it's large enough to carry a decent amount of items (or to squeeze in a 10" netbook) but not look TOO large. This is the largest purse I've ever owned and quite honestly, it's the perfect size.

I recommend this bag - ESPECIALLY if you're a lady with a trusty little netbook (a 9" would fit even better) and are looking for something stylish and comfortable... way better than those laptop sleeves!

i purchased the black one- very stylish i like its subtle decorations that make it a classy purse by far the nicest i've owned having previously got cheap as i possibly could because of financial issues. this medium tote has alot of room with the various zippers i had the choice of two deep pockets for my keys and inside pockets it kept all of my junk i have and i have room to spare which never happens when i buy a purse. i am VERY VERY pleased with this purse by Nine West. the straps are a bit short per another reviewer but i realized it tucks under my arm MUCH better and i can keep ahold of it when my hands are full with other things and after the last year having my long strapped purse dropping just when i was trying to struggle with groceries and my stairs and having things spill out because IT wasnt fully zippered across the top like this one is. i decided last night since i was watching Casablanca that Louis - i think this is the start of a beautiful friendship. will purchase from Nine West and of course Amazon again.

Perfect size for my needs. Sturdy. I have gotten lots of compliments on this bag. My favorite new bag.

This is a REALLY nice bag - the size is perfect, not too big and not too small, strap length is just right, the materials & workmanship are sturdy, and the details and hardware are great. Overall, it has a classic yet hip and contemporary look. I bought it in all black as well as white (for 1/2 the cost listed here) - both are gorgeous & the white is creamy enough in tone to be used year round. I normally carry MUCH more expensive bags & but was pleasantly surprised with this one - overall, I highly recommend it (great for those on a budget!). Would be nice if the front exterior zip opening was 1-2" wider so it was easier to get your hand in & out, but no biggie - it's still functional as is. TIP: The large size Purse-to-Go organizer insert fits this bag perfectly (adds extra pockets for organization & makes it easy to change bags).

Purse was in perfect condition- brand new and still in original packaging. It was priced well below retail. It is durable. I would recommend it to anyone.

Love the look, the size and the color. I personally prefer a bit longer strap. I have had lots of compliments and it is also good quality.

The bag is very nice. However, in the picture, it looks like a creamy beige, but when I got it, it was more of a very dirty beige color. Aside from that, it was nice and the size was perfect.
