Nine West Women's Blondey Boot

As usual, Nine West never fails to make a good looking uncomfortable shoe. As pricy as this boot was at its debut, I expected more from the black Blondey leather (upper) boot. The leather upper makes for a fabu look on the outside, but the rest of the boot is hard synthetic material with no give when you walk. The rubber sole is comfortable for the foot to walk and stand in (my feet weren't hurting...that I was surprised at), but the hard snythetic material that has no give (doesn't move with you or allow for easy flexing of foot while walking)rubbed against my ankle and every part of my lower leg. I was in pain, was surprised there wasn't a hole in my stocking. I'll wear long socks tomorrow, but they'll have to be a thin ones. These boots are true to size, no room for a thick sock, really snugs the foot.

These boots are great. They fit true to size and are comfortable. They are similiar to the Nine West boot "Botany" which came out a couple of years ago(a tall stiletto boot). The fit well if you are like me with large calves.

I have been hunting these boots down ever since I saw them on the Nine West website. When I saw that Amazon.com had them in my size and at a decent price, I snatched them up. Navy Blue patent leather!

Well, I was terribly disappointed when I received them. That navy blue appears black in most light. You have to have the boots under a direct light in order to see that it is blue. The toe box was quite tight also. The entire boot felt tight, actually. I didn't have socks on when I tried them on. Socks would have been out of the question.

I have a pair of boots of a similar style (Gallivant) by Nine West. I wore them once and the heel tip has worn down. I feared that would happen with these as well and since the color wasn't as depicted on most websites, I returned them. I will say that the cushion in Blondey is better than the Gallivant.

They are a sexy boot, I won't deny that. Too bad, though.

I ordered these boots from Amazon because of the low price. I got the leather ones. They fit really well. I saw a lot of reviews on here saying that the calf was too small but it's a little bit loose on me unless I tuck jeans into them. There is a lot of toe room surprisingly. For being 3 inch stiletto heels, they're actually pretty comfortable. I'm usually wary of buying apparel online because I like to try stuff on before I buy it but I was pleased with this purchase. Definitely a good boot to get if you need to add some variety to your shoe collection.

Very sad by this purcahse, I will be returning them. I have purchased Nine West Boots before and they have all fit well. I think I have average ankles and calves and the shaft and ankle on these boots are too big. They may fit better for someone with larger ankles and calves. Cute boot but they don't fit :(

I read the reviews first and decided after reading one that said she had 19" claves I thought I would give it a try. I measured mine and the widest part is 17.5". I ordered the uber sexy black synthetic boots in a size nine, half size up in hopes for a better fit. They did not fit my mammoth caves... I tried all the tricks I know, such as holding a dryer on the boot so it could stretch more easily and zipping up lower on the leg and pulling them up the calf. I even prayed, "Oh sweet Jesus, please help me make these boots fit, I really want them, please! I'll do anything!" and nothing.
So my conclusion is if you like these boots get them in the leather. Leather will stretch, the synthetic won't. Sexy as boots, fat as calved. Curse my lower leg!!!

I love these boots. I have always been apprehensive about wearing boots to work, but these are great and oh so comfy!

If you want to have sore feet and shins, please order these boots. The heel itself is great but when you put them on your feet, get ready for the soreness. Whether you wear trouser socks or nothing at all, the boots WILL HURT YOUR FEET!!!

I have the Blondey boots in the black leather and the brown synthetic. The black leather pair are pretty comfortable to walk in, HOWEVER I have to get my heels replaced only after 2 months of wear!! I admit that I work in NYC so I do a lot of walking, but I have plenty of shoes/boots that have made it through multiple seasons without needing the heel replaced. As for the brown synthetic pair, I usually don't go for synthetic leather boots since they are very stiff and usually uncomfortable, but I couldn't resist the price. So I can't say too much about those since you get what you pay for and they're definitely worth the price. I haven't had those as long, but the heel is already starting to wear in the short time I've had them...

If you are looking for a good leather boot this is not it. It's shiny and a grade above plastic. I have seen other man-made material that looks closer to leather than these boots. Yuck! Think Santa Claus.
