love the look! casual, but u can def dress them up w/dresses or skirts. if u have average-sized calves like me, the shaft will be a bit wider than most riding boots. i would've liked a tighter fit, but at least i can tuck my jeans with ease. if u have slender calves, they're probably not for u. love the brown color (not suede) - perfect compromise between chocolate brown & camel, so u can wear in the fall & spring. looks a bit western, but i like that. comfortable fit. not too big around the ankles like other riding boots. toe is round/wide enough to be comfortable, but a bit pointy for an elegant shape elongating your legs. shaft height flattering & not too tall for a petite 5'3" woman. surprised the sole & heel are plastic! they don't look bad, but c'mon, plastic?! 4 stars due to the plastic sole/heel and shaft on the wider side.

These boots are so cute! I had been eyeing them all summer and they ended up being cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else because of the back to school specials. There is an antique look to these boots, the black is not a shiny black that you'd usually find on boots like these. The the leather looks weathered, but in a good way so the boots don't look generic. The leather itself is very soft and supple and it looks to be of good quality. Since the leather is soft it allows the boot to slouch a little, but the softness of the leather might also be more prone to scratches and scuffs (but I'm not sure if they'll be obvious since the leather is already weathered). I love the buckle accent on the back.

I was expecting the boots to be heavy, especially with the wooden heel, but they were surprising light. The shoe itself is quite flexable and is really comfortable (a lot more comfortable than most of the steve madden boots I own). The shaft of the boot is quite tall (I'm 5'7" and they come right below my knees). It slipped on easily over skinny jeans with room to spare. I think they would look piratey if the leather wasn't weathered.

Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable and stylish pair of walkable black boots, these would be a great buy. On my first day out with them I received two compliments, and I can't wait for fall to kick into full gear so I can break these out more often.

carretera durante todo el día con ellos y desde la primera vez que hice son muy cómodas, siempre luchó con pantorrilla, pero con estos no había ningún problema para mi 16.5 ", suelen utilizar tamaño 11, también podría quedarse media menos, ya que son muy amplias , decidió conservar para su uso con calcetines gruesos, camisetas y recomendar si usted tiene problemas con los terneros de ancho, color café es más oscuro que la foto, pero muy bonita.
