I'd been searching for black, over-the-knee flat suede boots for quite a while and was getting more and more frustrated. So many pairs to sort through, and when I found the style I wanted, either the color or size was sold out, or when I ordered it, the boots would sag or hurt my feet/didn't fit (I wear a large size and have a wide foot with a narrow heel). Finally I found the Nine West "Sitcom" style but no one seemed to have them in black suede or in my size. Thank goodness Amazon.com did, plus they were ON SALE! I ordered them shortly before leaving for a week-long vacation, and they arrived while I was away. As soon as I arrived home, I couldn't wait to try them on, but I braced myself for disappointment. They were probably going to be ugly or cheap-looking: nope, the suede was just as nice as I'd hoped and it felt soft and supple in my hands. I pulled the right boot on, thinking that maybe it would be too short or tight and squeeze my foot. My foot slid in and I could wiggle my toes, and still had enough room for stockings or socks! I pulled on the left boot and began walking around on the carpet, expecting the tops to start slowly sliding and sagging down my calves. They stayed up and looked great! FABULOUS boots in so many ways!

I have been looking for an over the knee boot for awhile. I was nervous ordering online but it worked out well. I have pretty skinny calves and I was nervous that the opening would be too big but it fits well! I have to wear thick boot socks still to help hold the boot up on my calves but it definitely isn't too big. I love the leather and the foot is narrower which is what I needed as well. Fits true to size! I initially bought an 8.5 but needed to return for an 8 which is what I usually wear. Overall, great boot and great price!

I love these boots and am keeping them. In my opinion they do run large. I usually get a size ten in boots, but went with a nine in these. The color is a beautiful grey, leaning toward charcoal. If they continue this style next year, I will order another pair exactly the same, since grey suede is hard to find. This is a comfortable and classy pair of boots. I haven't worn them enough yet to test out the "slouch" factor. (I always prefer less rather than more slouch.)

I love this boot! Stylish and comfortable! I get compliments on them all the time!!!! It is a great boot for wide feet!
