I truly wish that I had written this book! Eastwood delves deeply into the symbolism of each number, exploring the nine archetypal connections between ordinary reality and the wholeness found hidden in the numbers. She uses mythology and clinical examples from her work as a psychologist to examine the wisdom of number archetypes, and the nine states of consciousness rising from the unconscious. This book is a must for anyone interested in symbolism, numbers and the unconscious. While the color pictures of the sandtrays add depth to Eastwood's discussion of numbers, this book should find an audience far beyond sandplay therapists and clinicians. It is for anyone who wants to explore the meaning of the universe through the mystery of numbers.

Nine Windows to Wholeness is an excellent book for clinicians or anyone interested in how numbers & symbols relate to the unconscious. It is easy to read and relate to, with interesting sandplay case examples from Dr. Eastwood's practice. A must have book for people interested in sandplay therapy.I would highly recommend this book! |
