This review is from: Daily Life on the Nineteenth Century American Frontier (Kindle Edition)
i'm finding these Daily Life series tantilizing but ultimately disappointing. Preachy and repetitive. Oddly quaint view of progress...more in line with moralistic historians of past centuries. Vulgar. Way overpriced for Kindle. Might consider if priced like Jacob Abbot histories in Common Domain. Reads like author dead long time.
