Book Description

April 2, 2007
THE ANSWER IS IN NAHUM... Disturbing visions of destruction haunt Aaron Henderson's dreams and inject turmoil into what was once a tranquil life in a quiet southern town, placing his family and friends in very real danger. An attack on the streets of his home town reveals that his dreams are more than the product of a vivid imagination-they're real. As the dreams continue, Aaron is led to an obscure book of Old Testament prophecy about the destruction of an ancient city: Nineveh. With growing accuracy, the dreams lead Aaron into the world of the CIA, Secret Service and a covert anti-terrorist team. He finds himself embroiled in a plot to shift the balance of power in the Middle East, in conjunction with a vicious attack on American soil. Relying on untried skills and newfound faith, he is forced to follow his dreams into the midst of chaos. ...AND DESTRUCTION IS NEAR.

More About the Author

Craig Alexander always dreamed of being a novelist. He spent countless hours reading as a youth, many times by flashlight after being instructed to turn off his light. The writers that influenced him the most as an adolescent were J.RR. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and Louis L'amour. He remains an avid reader with varied interests. In 2003 with the help of an intriguing dream, he began plotting a story which turned into his first novel, The Nineveh Project.

A martial artist of eighteen years experience, Craig is a third-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a second-degree black belt in Hapkido, and a first degree black belt in Han Mu Do, and has studied many other styles. He is an instructor at Sun Bi Martial Arts in Madison, MS and has competed and trained internationally.

Craig is also a small group Bible study leader. His writing is action packed with a positive spiritual message.

He loves to play Tennis, watch good movies, and of course read. He lives in Mississippi with his wife and daughter.

This review is from: The Nineveh Project - A Novel (Paperback)
Awesome book...Christian warriars fighting the forces of evil. I am a TKD martial artist and it was very cool to have the details of the conflicts described from another martial artists perpective. I can not believe this is Craig's first novel. Very good read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Could not put it down!, May 26, 2007
This review is from: The Nineveh Project - A Novel (Paperback)
I took The Nineveh Project on a trip with me. And, though I know better than to read too much while on an airplane (motion sickness), I could not make myself stop. The author paints amazingly powerful images of an ancient city as invading armies approach and, ingeniously, ties them in to a present-day terror. The author's use of historical facts, his providing of clues to the hero through Biblical references, and his use of accurate and exciting martial arts action add numerous levels of enjoyment. Looking forward to reading more of Mr. Alexander's work.
