PROS: Haven't had any problems thus far. Regulator seems to be consistent. When test firing gun with this newly purchased tank, every round's trajectory was the same as the first and traveled the same distance (even after numerous shots).
CONS: Weight, it's pretty heavy both full as well as empty. What else would you expect from a tank that costs <$50?
Also, another PRO that doesn't really involve the tank itself was the shipping. I ordered this product on a Saturday with Prime, which would typically make the arrival date the first Tuesday however it came a day early on Monday. I was impressed.
SUMMARY: A very low cost, durable, efficient tank for the average player that doesn't want to spend the money on an expensive tank that would break the bank. I highly recommend it.
I haven't filled or used it yet but here's what I know.
Both the bottle and 3000 psi shim adjustable regulator are marked "made in USA". If that isn't important to you, it should be.
If you are mechanically inclined, it is very easy to change the output pressure from the standard 750-850 psi (Ninja specs) to 650 and 500 psi by following the instructions in the Ninja Owner's Manual. All the parts required to do so are factory installed in the standard tank. I can't imagine how this system could provide anything but a consistent output pressure.
The gauge on the tank shows tank pressure.
The effective (installed)length is about 9.50 inches, the diameter is about 3.50". I measured my tank to weigh 1361 grams / 2.994 lbs.
The paint is glossy and the logos and labeling are painted not decals.
Utilized with my 2011 Tippmann A-5, the marker is almost perfectly balanced in the valley of my thumb and index finger when holding the marker with hand and trigger finger in ready to fire position, regardless of arm position and the end (bottom) is well short of my elbow and the tank rests comfortably against the side of my forearm.
As others have noted, a 4500 psi tank doesn't hold any more air than a 3000 psi one if your field only fills to 3000 psi. Less weight is almost always a Good Thing but in my case, at least, this heavier than carbon fiber tank probably makes for a better balanced marker.
The only disappointment is that it came with a cheap plastic dust cover rather than a real threaded thread protector but my expectation was based on a couple of YouTube reviews that may have been misleading. The fill nipple cover is equally cheap.Read more ›
Has about 3 years left until the next hydrotest will be required, but it's ok to me (around $25USD).

Paired with my new Hammer 7 and a plastic butt cap. Works great! Did notice the regulator was a tad loose but tightened it myself, easy fix.Published 1 month ago by Samuel Silva

Great value for what you're getting. I'm glad they have these now which are a nice option to the expensive carbon fiber tanks. Obviously the trade off is weight. Read morePublished 3 months ago by Squirrel
