LOVE the music, LOVE the show!!, July 17, 2008

Ok, first I gotta say tha Ninja Scroll is one of my favourite anime series and movies! I'm a BIG fan of JUBEI and the inventive creatures he faces.
I loved the opening music from the series and it's great to hear it and the closing theme on the cd. It's a great cd to listen to after watching the series, because the tracks differ so much from each other its pretty easy to remember the fight, or part they come from. The music in the show helped illustrate the fight or emotions on screen and the cd gives you the sounds to conjure the images in your head.
Half of the tracks are rather... mechanical, or techno... but still I liked them, although I do try to stay away from that type of music.
Tracks 3 'All we are' and 9 'only the night' are great songs that were used in the series and were fantastic for their moments.
I find watching anime series you'll find a few tracks that just stand out and for me they were on the cd (all we are and only the night) and it's great to have them.

Although I'd only give the Anime itself 3 stars, this soundtrack contains tracks that are well organised and well chosen. When played in full the CD doesn't sound too jolting (with rock) or too labourious (with slow music) and although I missed the track that plays when Jubei fights the Cat-Woman, I liked this product. I just love 'Sureshot' - the music that opens the first episode with Roga (sp?) running!
