5.0 out of 5 stars Little Buggers
Don't let their size fool ya. For their size, these things can fly!Although, I have to admit, I thought they would be a little bigger.

Good news first.

-They are actually sharp and stick well in targets.
-Their curve enables the handle to fit in the palm comfortably.
-And for some reason they are very easily controlled in the air...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad
This set is not bad, but it's definitely a little light for those that are beginner knife throwers in my opinion. I started off with these and targeting cardboard, but when I graduated to wooden targets, it was harder to stick. I ended up purchasing a set of 8.5" double bladed throwing knives instead. If you want something just to fool around with, these are the right...

Don't let their size fool ya. For their size, these things can fly!Although, I have to admit, I thought they would be a little bigger.

Good news first.

-They are actually sharp and stick well in targets.
-Their curve enables the handle to fit in the palm comfortably.
-And for some reason they are very easily controlled in the air.

The bad news.

-The case for them is really junky and they can fall out if you don't watch them. The strap on the top does almost nothing.
-The dementions of the picture posted fooled me into thinking that I would be able to fit my fingers into the skeletonized handle(the holes)and be able to use them kind of like brass knuckles. And trust me unless you're three years or younger you wont be able to.
-And the things are so sharp that they are getting ready to dig a hole through the bottom of the case.

Over all, I thought they were pretty cool. I've already done my damage with the little buggers.

I enjoyed tossing these even though I had no idea what I was doing. They are sharp, nicely machined and well balanced. Well worth the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars It would be fun...not in the house., August 1, 2010

Its a great throwing knife just not very durably but I believe thats mostly my fault for missing and hitting the metal plate. So keep in mind if you are planning to use this alot try and get a sharpener as well since the tip will bend with every miss. Or you can do what I do and try to hammer the thing flat. definitely not as pretty.

Now as you probably read the case is the worst part of this set, but its also a very easily fix. Just duct tape the hell out of it. I use red duct tape on mine, not very ninja but very safe conscious. I can easily tell if my little nephew is trying to kill the plants now. Be sure to reinforce the belt loop as well, or it will rip.

All in all its a pretty awesome buy, I recommend it to every ninja out there.

This knife set is great for just messing around if you dont know what your doing, also they are palm sized and extremely sharp, ive thrown them countless times and have no dents yet so thats a + also. Overall I'd recommend them if you want to buy these and try your hand at throwing knives

This set is not bad, but it's definitely a little light for those that are beginner knife throwers in my opinion. I started off with these and targeting cardboard, but when I graduated to wooden targets, it was harder to stick. I ended up purchasing a set of 8.5" double bladed throwing knives instead. If you want something just to fool around with, these are the right ones for you, however if you are serious about learning how to throw knives, I'd recommend carbon steel or at least 440 stainless steel with a starting size of 8.5"-10". Have fun!! :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, April 7, 2011

i turned 14 and got one of those prepaid visa cards. I looked on amazon and decide to order these. They arrived 4 days early and were ready to throw out of the box. On my 3rd throw I stuck the knife in my birch tree and it just went on from there. These knives are 6 inches and kind of lightweight. There were no directions included so you will have to experiment with your technique. I can make 20 foot throws easy and my farthest throw was about 40 feet. Overall, buy these if your a begginer

They are small and well balanced. But they are very dull, nothing a sharpener cant fix. case does get stabbed a lot by the tips. These knives are working very well for me. I definatly reccomend them as long as you have a different case for them and a knife sharpener.

This was bought as a gift for a responsible 14 year old who is very involved in sports and likes outdoor activities. He was thrilled with this gift and has made targets to attach to trees in the woods. Knives have good balance and grip. Target practice teaches great hand and eye coordination.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent for the price, July 13, 2011
This review is from: Set 3 Ninja Stealth Silver Throwing Knives with Nylon Case (Misc.)
These little things are sweet.
However when I was ordering I didn't check out the dimensions
They're quite a bit smaller than I thought they would be
The box for them is junky, but no big deal there for me

The knives are very durable and solid
I'm surprised that they can have quite the ricochet, but if you throw it correctly it'll stick usually

I'm still having fun with them, and that's all that matters in the end
You can't beat the price if you're a beginner looking to immerse yourself into the manliest sport ever :D cheers

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved Them!, March 27, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Set 3 Ninja Stealth Silver Throwing Knives with Nylon Case (Misc.)
When I got these, I was unhappy about the size (they are only about six inches from tip to handle) but after using them I loved them. They fly well and are well balanced. The case is impractical for anything but storage. I would definitely recommend these to other people and may even buy another set.
