Ninja Throwers Pro Stars set of 4 with Carry Case

Other than in very small print in the details, it does not say that these are tiny ninja stars. They are only about 2 inches across. Everywhere else on the internet where I have found this exact product, they are listed as "Mini Ninja Stars." So, if you wanted full-sized ninja stars, be forewarned.

These throwing stars are excellent! They are mini-stars in reality but they still fly well. The tips do get bent up if they drop on hard surfaces. I recommend putting down towels to cushion their fall if you are on concrete, that's what I do.

However, only 3 out of the four stars stick to the target (thick cardboard). The fat, 4-sided one just bounces off; I think it's because the sides aren't sharp and the dull points don't help. I sharpened all mine with a file and now they work even better. The fat one still refuses to stick.

Maybe if the target was plywood or some kind of thick material, the fat one would stick. Overall, I recommend anyone buy these - they are great to hone anyone's throwing skills.

I recently bought the set of 4 ninja stars and I love them. They look amazing, work excellently, have a great case, and I received them early! Couldn't be happier.

This set of 4 "Pro Stars" are somewhat bigger and better quality than I expected, making them a good starter set for those wanting to learn or practice "star" throwing. Always looking for something to keep my teen son interested in working out in our home gym, these have have made a surprisingly enjoyable addition. Here are my observations:

+ Good Size; each one is about 2.5" from point to point
+ Good Weight; heavy enough to stick in a pine board when thrown from 10'
+ Quality Metal; tips have held up well, despite having hit the floor more than a few times
+ OK Carry Case; made from nylon, has a sleeve section for each blade, and a Velcro restraining strap

These come fairly sharp and "clean up" well with a metal file.

when I first bought these stars I thought they were a pretty nice buy, but I was very wrong...When they came out of the package there was this weird sticky substance on the stars that was very hard to get off, this also made it very hard to throw because they kept sticking to my hand..The stars were very small and only maybe two of them actually stuck to their target, the 4 point stars just bounced off. Since they are so tiny the stars are too light to get a very deep penetration so only shortly after sticking the fall right off.I've been throwing knives for quite a while now and never have I seen the point on a blade dull as easily as these stars, after about 5 throws the point dulled on each of them..The title says everything a waste of money...

Great to start out with not very sharp but super pointy will stick, but not the same as the 4 inch stars which i am used to throwing.

I take back my old review stating that the package never arrived. It actually came in my mailbox. (I live in an apartment where the doorman takes packages so I assumed he must have them) they came 1 day early. The stars look like the stars in the picture, but the carrying case is completely different to the picture but it's not that bad. The tips of all the stars are sharp but a little sharpening wouldn't hurt. Overall it's a nice product to own, they throw well, look cool, and stick (to the target). I would recommend this product to anyone.

I don't know what people are complaining about. I saw the snap in the picture and used that for reference. You idiots.

This is definatly worth the money! I love these things! They are a little small, but very effective. They got dinged up a bit because i hit them off eachother, but i still love them! Definatly worth the $5. I LOVE IT! BUY THIS ITEM!

these are pretty cool but really small, they are kind of hard to throw cause they are little. but ok for the money i guess
