Set of 5 Ninja Throwing Spikes with Wrist Sheath

This set of "Throwing Spikes" is reasonably good quality for the price. We have recently added a throwing area in our home martial arts gym (my son and I take it together) and it adds a good bit fun and competition to our workouts. After trying Ninja Throwers Pro Stars set of 4 with Carry Case and 3 Pieces Black Spider Throwing Knife Set 6" Overall Length, these "spikes" seemed like the next logical progression. Here are my observations:

Pros -
+ Good Weight; hefty enough to stick in pine from 10' - 12'
+ Red Tassel; makes it easy find on those "rare" occasions we miss our target

Cons -
- Blunts Easily; we keep a file on hand to sharpen as needed

Misc -
* Includes Wrist Sheath; not great quality, but functional to hold the spikes

It is surprising how quickly we learned to get these sticking in our targets with a fair degree of accuracy.

These things are great for the price they dont give you very much details in the ad part so i will

1 wrist sheath made out of a tough faberic

5 throwing spikes aka (throwing quills)

they are 6 inches long with dark red string things coming out of them to make it easy to see after you throw them they work great and are heavy enough to throw if you cant get it to stick at whatever you are throwing them at than its you not the quills these things work great the only complaint that i had was they came in a bent up box that looked like it had been on a shelf for years

These came earlier than I thought. The shuriken are great but the red tassels are annoying. To anyone who wants to buy these things, Keep the tassels on or you won't be able to find them if you lose them in grass... The tips bend if you throw them wrong so be careful. I would recommend these to a friend.

These work very well, and i can get them to stick quite often. I only have two concerns. One is that the red tassels fall off which doesn't bother me i just had to adjust my throw a little. Now the reason i give it 4 stars is after a couple throws the tips started to bend. I was able to bend them back, but it starts to become a nuisance.

These ninja spikes are very nice. It is hard to tell from the picture that they are black. The tassels are very annoying, but they are useful to see in the grass: you will lose them otherwise. The spikes came on time, even earlier than amazon's estimate (They do seem to have been shipped from nearby though). The wrist sheath is pretty uncomfortable to use without long sleeves, but it holds the bo shuriken nicely. It's made out of a tough material, on the box it says, "Heavy Black Webbing Band." They are very well balanced, and I was able to stick them into a target made of 4 thick pieces of cardboard as soon as I opened the box, and I have never touched a ninja spike in my life. Therefore, I think this is a great product for beginners, and is highly recommended. They are about 6 inches, although two seem to be a tiny bit longer than the rest. I honestly have no complaints about this product. Enjoy.

well i first ordered these but received a set of three. I informed them about it and they immediately set me a replacement of 5 which came in only two days!! They also let me keep the original three.

I suppose these items may not be well suited for practice, though I had hoped for better durability. After throwing two into a small wooden plank (probably better to aim at softer targets) they bent and were unable to be straightened.

These spike really great. they are sharp, 5 and a half inches long. the carrying case holds them nicley but a bit loose.( it says wrist sheath but works a WHOLE lot better if you strap them to your leg. they are strapped to my leg now XD) the red thig is annoying.

i would reccomend.

These spikes are surprisingly well crafted and easy to throw. I have found that i am far more accurate with these than with my throwing knives. Also, the tassles make them really easy to find. The only complaint i have is with the wrist sheath. For simply holding the spikes, it is fine. However, if you actually intend to wear it on your wrist, the spikes will fall out, and the straps arent really adjustable (there is about an inch of velcro on each strap, so if your forearm isnt basically an exact fit, then you arent gonna be wearing it. Anyway, good spikes though.

spikes are ok but the thread on the back wont stay on the spike for any long period of time so have to reite them good and spikes are good
