Do NOT buy this Nintendo 64 controller if you are looking for the original, well shaped, gray controller. Although the picture shows a normal controller, the one they sent to me was made by a third party (not by Nintendo) and does not feel the same or handle the same - in fact, it feels less comfortable and ergonomic, and handles with less precision. Also, I emailed the company about it and received no response. So, do not pay money for this controller if you are looking for something that you will actually want to use for a N64 system.

I am not at all satisfied with this product, i would probably send it back, only the trouble time and effort wouldnt be worth it, im just going to get another one at a local store. but the product i wanted to buy, is pictured in the item description, its an n64 controller made by nintendo. what i failed to realized was that i was actually purchasing a cheap 3rd party controller. not at all what i wanted, not only do the controlllers not work nearly as well, but they break much more easily. the purchase was a complete waste of time and money

The Nintendo 64 controllers revolutionized controllers a lot from what they used to be. You have the usual A and B button which are the two buttons that you'll use the most other than the control stick. The four yellow buttons are a good addition because they make controlling a lot of the Nintendo 64 games a lot easier. Just like the Super Nintendo controllers, you still have the L and R buttons on the top, and the directional pad on the left. The Nintendo 64 controller also adds another button that will come in good use and isn't hard to use, and that's the Z button on the bottom of the controller. And finally, the control stick is what really sets the Nintendo 64 controller apart from all other controllers from any system. Its great precision is what makes it so great. For example, in "Super Mario 64," if you barely move the stick up, Mario will walk real slow like he's sneeking up on something. But if you push the control stick as far up as it'll go, he'll run real fast like he's in a hurry.

If you have a Nintendo 64, I'd recommend getting this controller. This is the basic controller for the system and the first color that they came out with, but there are a lot of other colors to choose from.

But for proof, just look under the picture of the "Nintendo 64 controller" and you'll see a third party controller. Shame on them for not being honest with the buyers!

It must really suck if it's that cheap. Just buy one here for about 17 bucks; they're worth it!

I had some trouble when the item first arrived, it didn't work at all and was in very bad shape so I asked for a replacement and sent it back. The replacement took a while to arrive but customer service was always checking back with me and following up on the replacement process.

I am very satisified with the replacement and with the customer service from this seller, although I asked for a PlayStation controller for the replacement, I got the N64 one but it's working just fine.

I recommend this product and this seller, and would buy again from them specially because they never let me down with the replacement.

Beware all the reviews here about 3rd party controllers. If these people would have taken the time to read descriptions they would realize that not all of the controllers listed are described as nintendo-branded devices.

READ THE DESCRIPTIONS! If you end up with an aftermarket device that was listed as authentic, then all it takes is a simple email to the seller and/or one to amazon to fix the problem.

I got mine on time, works perfectly, tight joystick, Nintendo-brand.

The original controllers made by nintendo are far most the best pick out of the other off brand controllers. They have lasted way longer than my madcat controllers. If you are wanting to buy a controller for the 64 I recommend this controller even if it is a few dollars more. I think quality is the most important and this product has it.

There is no substitute for the original N64 controller. All the third party controllers break and aren't set up the same. Don't buy anything but the originals. Grey is also the original color but any color works the same.

The original nintendo 64 controller is absolutely great, it looks good and works great. I have tryed all of the off brand controllers and found the original controller to work the best. Here is why the off brand controllers use cheap joysticks that can easily break, I have never seen a nintendo brand joystick break. They also use cheap plastics that will break very easy, the original brand controller is a thinker molded plastic and I have never seen it chip or break.

I ordered this product thinking that it was going to be used and badly packaged but the shipping was fast and the product was in excellent condition. It works great and its more than I expected. I will definately buy from these people again if I need another controller.
