This is what I needed but the item sent was not the same in the picture.
In my opinion if your selling something, the item sent should match what is being
what I see. Somewhat disappointing in the service. the one I received didn't have gold
plated tips and looks second rate to the one pictured.

I was hoping that this high definition cable would improve the overall picture when using my WII for games and Netflix on my Sharp 1080 HDTV. There is an improvement but, not really enough to justify the purchase. Although you get what you pay for and this item was not at all expensive.

"Good product fast service, outstanding all the way around" the cables work pretty good with the wii and not have any complain.

This is just your basic wii to component video cable. Nothing special. Not much to speak of as far as shielding or anything. The connections appear to be gold, and it does exactly what it's build to do. I don't buy into the crazy expensive cables for most things, and certainly not to plus a Wii into and HD TV. No sense throwing your money away on something that will do essentially the same thing.

These cables will definitely do the trick if you're looking for a cheap way to get component quality video out of your WII. But do not expect the cables themselves to be high quality.

When I first opened the package and plugged it in the casing over the connector to the WII side came loose and is now just dangling on the cable. This doesn't affect the performance of the cable, but just lends an idea to the overall quality of the product.

This item is a must have if your using an HD tv. Its simple. Just plug and play! The improvement in the picture is almost everything it can be.

I have a Wii that works fine with the composite (3 plug) adaptor. When I bought a HD TV (Insignia brand), I bought this cable, expecting the 6-plug component hookup to be better. I tried all Wii modes -- wide and normal, standard definition 480i and HD 480p. In all modes, the Wii would display OK most of the time, but then go black for a few seconds, and then come back. It would do this repeatedly, every minute or so. I gave up, went back to the composite cable, and it displays fine in 480i wide screen. (In fact, the picture is slightly clearer with the composite cable.) So this cable ain't worth it, at least for me.
