These filters protect the top and bottom screens, but also provide covers for the areas around the D-pad, the YXBA buttons, and the front cover. I'm not sure how necessary these added covers are, but I put them on there anyway. They feel kinda nice, but the rest of my review focuses on the two screen covers.

These protectors have been extremely effective and I had very few bubbles under them when I applied them nor since. I had two problems with these protectors which I'm not sure the manufacturer could fix without degrading the product. One, you really only get one try to apply these screens. I put on the bottom one first and wasn't happy about half way through and pulled it up, repositioned it, and reapplied it. It still works, but I could tell the adhesive wasn't as potent... and I'd gotten a little spec of something on there. Two, these protectors fit very tightly, if you don't position them with near perfection, they won't exactly fit. My top screen, on the bottom right corner, has an invisibly thin piece holding the corner up. Slightly annoying, but my fault and I can live with it.

In short, these protectors are tricky to install, but very effective if you do it right.

went on easy, just make sure your screen is completely clean and dry. start at one side and smooth with finger tip to the other side. you can't even tell it's on the top of the ds. would recommend for you consoles protection.

This product is great! It comes with five protective screens that guard the top, sides and both screens of the DS against scratches or smears. It also includes a cleaning cloth. The filters are easy to put on, and so long as you're careful, it is not difficult to get them on without air bubbles. The touch pad screen was not negatively affected by the filter, either. This filter pack is an absolute essential for anyone who wants to keep their DS looking nice and new!

Perfect for protecting your DS Lite screens from any games that will cause you to be more rough on your screen! Once you have the filters on, they are totally unnoticeable on your DS screens. The only cons are that I wish it came with more than one of each screen--and that if you don't apply the filters correctly, air bubbles may appear on your screen--but within time, they usually disappear.

These worked relatively well on a brand new DS, particularly on the screens, which really is the main concern. It's a little fussy figuring out how to separate the decals from the throw away glossy paper and then not getting your fingerprints on anything, but it can be done. I had instant success with the top screen, but got a few small bubbles on the bottom screen. I couldn't seem to easily remove the filter on the bottom screen to try again (a little concerning because these are supposed to be "reusable"), so I ignored it. Within a few days of use the bubbles were gone and never interfered with play or enjoyment. The protector for the outside top is fine but I must have put it on backwards first(DOH!) as it is now full of bubbles from dust and lint. No big deal. This only protects the horizontal part of the top cover, not the round corners or vertical sides at all. There is also a cut-out opening for the raised logo, so this is pretty limited protection. The interior protectors for around the buttons went on well- no bubbles. The DS has a matte surface finish in this area, so about the only thing truly being protected is the "Start" and "Select" writing, and of course nothing is protecting the buttons themselves. Bottom line- great screen protectors, probably could skip the rest. Also got the excellent Intec DuraCase which I also highly recommend.

Have a red ds and i wanted to protect the top of it without covering it up. This works great along with my Intec travel case! (Wouldn't recommend this if it's the only protection you're getting for you ds) Screen protectors are just as awesome, can't even tell any of it is there. The only thing was the side protectors. i had a hard time putting them on and i think because of that they don't look as good as they could have. You have to make sure no particles get stuck on it while you're putting it on or it'll make air bubbles. I think it's well worth it.

If you are willing to spend $140- on a game, then you need to spend another $10- to protect your screens.

I ordered this for my son's red DS Lite. It went on easy as the reviews described, the problem was that it has a blue tint and made his red DS look purple. There is no mention anywhere in the description of the product indicating it's got a blue tint so keep that in mind when you're considering this product.

I don't really know what to say aside from the fact that I found the product cheap and poorly made. Getting the screens placed on properly wasn't hard but getting the tape off the screens was almost impossible. While attempting to get them on properly I ended up scratching one of these screens and basically ruining it. The screen for the outside of the DS peeled off in under a week. I still have the inside covers on by the buttons but those aren't all that useful to be honest.
