There is no question about the power of the Nintendo DS. Since it came out back in 2004, many gamers young and old have been enjoying their favorite games that are just based on the simple touch of the screen. But for those who are hard core fans of the hit Star Wars franchise, they now have something even more exciting that will make you feel more like you are truthfully using the force. These special Star Wars Lightsaber Stylus pens really light up whenever you use them. They really work great. My only gripes about the stylus pens is that they can't be used in the DS Lite stylus holder on the system. Instead you'd have to put them away in your DS holder case. The second gripe I have is that at around $20, they are the most expensive stylus pens on the market. But, they are absolutely worth it for those who want to feel like they've beaten Darth Vader and the Death Star. I really like these styus pens, but I just wish they could cost a bit less.

My boys loved these star wars ds styluses. Since they are big star wars fans I wasn't suprised. Also since they are bigger than the regular pens they are easier to find when they lose them.

I love things that light up and thought the idea of a light up stylus for the DS was a wonderful idea for my kids when they are sitting in the backseat of the car at night playing...but these things are just too fragile. The colored tip breaks off of the silver base where the light is and you can't glue it back and expect it to stay. They both broke within just a few days of use. Yes, you can use just the colored tip as a stylus once it breaks, but it won't light up...so what's the point? I wish they were designed better because the light up idea is awesome and come on people...it's a light saber, how much cooler can ya get?!? But way too fragile for the price :-(

These stylus's are as long as my hand. I could not tell that by the picture. They are so substantial my kids will just freak when they get them for their good report cards

these things are *huge*. you will not be able to carry these around with you when traveling since they are so big and bulky. it would make it awkward to take with you on the go. however, at home (or a place where you will spend a lot of time), these things shine (pun intended). worth it for the entertainment factor alone.

purchased these for my 9 yr old son to go along with the black ds and star wars game. they work great and he enjoys them. no problems with them..

I bought these for my grandchildren as a surprise for helping out, they went crazy when they got them! I bought more for other grandchildren...

This was a birthday present for my son and I was very disappointed to discover that only one of the light sabers worked.

Our kid loves Star Wars and we really thought that he would love these lightsaber pens, but he doesn't really use them. Compared to the DS pen that comes with the DS, these are just too bulky. They are a neat novelty item, but I don't forsee them getting much use. His kid brother does think that they're neat to use with his GI Joes though.

The only thing that makes these stylus better then the regular ones is that they are larger and easier to use, according to my eight year old. The light up feature is ok but not worth the price in our opinion. Maybe if you play in the dark a lot!
