- When the screen protectors are applied, there is a slight grainy rainbow effect distortion over the image quality of the screen.
- one of the styli fell apart right out of the package

The screen protectors and the styli went straight for the trashcan about 10 minutes after opening the package. The only thing I'll probably still use is the little piece of cloth that I can use to wipe the screen with, even that is low quality polyester.

There are so many times a accessory kit for a video game system does not definitely have what it should have. For Pelican, they've made some mixed products that really haven't delivered all that well with products at a cheaper price. That is also with the results of the Pelican Starter Kit for the Nintendo DS system. This kit consists of stylus pens, and a screen protector. The stylus pens don't seem to really work very well, compared to the ones Nintendo has developed well. Although the screen protector gives a non-glaring gaze which works very well, it just isn't worth the money if all the working tools are 100% accurate. I honestly suggest you get the original backup stylus pens Nintendo developed for the DS instead.

Well i got this because i lost both my styluses that came with my ds. I was suprised to see that it had screen protecters (i got it at gamestop) I love the styluses they are the best I've ever had but the screen protecters are bad. the bottom screen protecter was so hard to put on that i tried so many times and it got messed up so i had to throw it out. the one on the top was OK even though i got alot of glares with it... when it got all scratched up and i took it off, it left a sticky residue that made me spend a half hour wiping it with a paper towel soaked with windex... this almost messed my whole ds up... im never putting screen protecters (from pelican) on my ds again..... the styluses are great though

For less than a dollar, I have no complaints. The styluses are made for the old DS's and fit snugly in the slot.

The picture on Amazon says the styluses are metal, but the outside of mine are definitely plastic. Perhaps the
inside is metal? I don't know. They haven't broken yet.

The screen protectors, one for each screen, are good as well. The touch screen still functions normally with them
attached. They were easy to apply, too. The package came with a little set of instructions and a plastic thing
to get rid of the bubbles.

Overall, I'm very impressed with this product and its price.

Works okay, but the screen protector scratches really quick. I have a rough an
d energetic child and he gets very absorbed in his games. Otherwise, it is an acceptable product for a decent price. Quick shipping was nice.

I bought this product for my son to use with his Nintendo DS.
It is serving its purpose well. My son loves it and I feel he is getting the most and best use from his DS because
of this added product.

My sons have the regular DS and they are always misplacing the sticks. I have them everywhere. in the car, backpacks, in their rooms. I am ready!!! They fit the first DS w/two screens only!!!

For free shipping, and less than a dollar for total cost, I wouldn't complain about the plastic looking styli. But why say metal, and show metal, then send plastic? Still, a good deal though. Screen protectors aren't meant to be permanent, they get replaced quite often depending on the amount of use they get. As far as that goes, these screen protectors work just as well as any other.

Both of my grandchildren use their Nintendo DS constantly and lost their stylus. This product is a good price and comes with the screen protector as well.
