We bought this race track for our two boys, ages 4 and 10, for Christmas. They love Mario Karts so we thought it was perfect. Wrong! The track design is aweful. The connection point for the legs isn't strong enough, so the legs are constantly falling off. The Wario car usually gets stuck going under the track, because of the instability of the legs. The cars do not stay on the track at all, so the kids can't even get the cars to go around the track slowly more than a couple of times - forget going fast. We thought the point of a race track was to race! We are going to return this race track to the store today. What a disappointment!

We returned this to the store the same day we bought it. We couldn't get the cars to stay on the tracks even one time around the racetrack. Wario kept bumping his head on the high track and if we set the stands that hold the track up on something higher (so Wario would fit) then the tracks started to come apart at the connectors. Horribly designed track.

Falls apart constantly! Is NOT FOR kids at all, it is super touchy. Biggest waste of money! I didn't listen to all the bad reviews, wish I would have!

We bought this toy for our 5 year old son last Christmas. At first we had a hard time getting the cars to go, but that was because of our own mistakes. Once we learned how to get control of the cars and keep them going all of us are having a great time playing with this track! I say it is a good buy, but definitely not for $50. I paid $15 at Toys 'R Us on Black Friday. For that price, I don't mind if it doesn't make it until this Christmas because we've already played with it a lot!

This product should be avoided at all costs and Carerra should be ashamed of themselves for marketing such a poorly designed and poorly built POS to kids. The cars, when they do go, simply fly off the track. The legs are so wobbly that any bump will lower the overpass ensuring that no car can pass underneath. Myself and my 6 year old found nothing but frustration. The other reviewers got it right -- don't bother.

I found this at my local grocery store for $29. My son LOVES anything Mario so I figured what the heck. My kids are 7 and 9 and are having a blast with this as we speak. We took off the white fences - they are useless. I agree that it's a POS though. The cars keep coming off the track unless you move the cars in 'pulses'. They are challenging themselves in how many laps they can do without falling off. Cannot believe the box says 4 and up. NO WAY - my kids have learned how to control it but it would have been a disaster for a 4 yo. The Wario car is poorly designed - too chunky and harder to control . I wish I had researched this item beforehand- I'd have bought a set with better reviews. I came here to see if others were having the same problems we were and it looks like we fared pretty well considering.

My kid loves anything mario. He is a super fan, and boy does he collect. This was one of many, many mario items he recieved for Christmas. I had my doubts, but it came from Grandma. We got in a fight putting it together, it is hard, and doesn't stay together. Then we tried to make it go and the cars just fly off the track. If you press the button in "pulses" like others have said then it does stay on the track, but that's not racing is it. It's a Grandma race, funny since it came from Grandma herself. Wario is too big and can't go under the overpass of the track. We had to prop the track stands up on books. The track stands are flimsy and fall over, toppling the track constantly. So: a race track that you can't race on, that falls, apart, and that one racer is too big for. I'm not sure how much money that would be worth. Going back and buying new mario stuff with the money.

This item was not only a worthless, poorly made toy, it is almost criminal that any company would sell something like this. The directions are worthless and contain no written explanation. It was not that difficult to figure out, but when we saw how horribly the product worked we just figured I put it together wrong. Nope, the support pillars really are designed to fail, and the cars are designed to fall off the track before making a single circuit of the very short track. This is the last product I will ever, ever purchase from this company. My son really wanted this for his birthday, and spent a lot of time trying to make it work. He is now totally disappointed. Nice 6th birthday present. If I could punch the engineering team that designed this, I would do it without hesitation. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
