5.0 out of 5 stars Rare Songs March 20, 2010
A concept album of sorts with an illustrated Super Mario Brothers storyline booklet.

The Crosby Stills & Nash song is a gem (acoustic take on the John Sebastian song). Other songs on here also appear rare.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Mario" Mix Tape July 19, 2013

This is definitely one of the more random pieces of "Mario" canon out there. "Ignorance is Bliss" aside, the songs have nothing to do with the series at all, but as a random early 90s mix-tape, it's pretty okay, with a nice variety of genres and a couple well-known artists/bands (as well as some more obscure songs that aren't easily tracked down on YouTube). The comic/story in the booklet is ridiculous: I had seen scans online already, but I had to see the physical thing in my hands before I could believe it was real. If you're a "Mario" nerd, it's worth getting just for the heck of it.
