These are stickers. Maybe folks who buy skins often already know this - but I thought by the name "WraptorSkinz" that it meant the skin would wrap around the entire remote to protect it on all sides. Not so - it's a sticker, and it only covers the front. That being said, it IS protective of the front, and is easy to apply evenly without air bubbles. And it's thick enough that it DOES protect the front of the remote.
