The OEM Wiimote skin is the only way to go.

We like how much more protective it feels. It has a lot more 'skin' than the other third party skins have.

Also, it seems to feel a little more 'sticky' and that's a good thing.

Highly recommended.

Why not go on the Nintendo web site and get as many FREE ones as you would like? I got 4 for my system and they even pay the shipping. Plus they work great! I suspect the FREE one you will get from Nintendo will be the only ones you need! Save the money you would be spending from these sellers and put it towards a Wii Ware game or a game on the Virtual Channel. There's really no reason to buy these when Nintendo gives them away for FREE!

I ordered a Wiimote Jacket Skin as the one on the picture. Instead I got the Wiimote Jacket for the Wii+motion plus. Not what I expected

I was just browsing Nintendo website to see if they sell Jackets via their website and I was surprised to see that if your unit did not come with Remote Jacket you can order it for free from their website and not only that it ships free as well. Nothing against the seller but try to see if you qualify for free OEM Jacket first:). If you need an replacement I am not sure if Nintendo can help so you might want to order one here.

Hope this helps!

Nintendo sells these sleeves for $3.50 each. Shipping is a flat $5 in the US. So I could order two from this scam artist^H^H^H^H'reseller' and pay $8 shipping for a total of $14, or I could order direct from Nintendo and pay a total of $11.50. With the added reassurance that I'm getting an authentic Nintendo product.

The skin is fantastic! It prevents the remote from slipping out of your hand when playing for long periods of time.

cover was in good shape and came promptly. You're asking too much of your customers. I'm willing to rate but don't expect to have to live up to your expectations re length etc.

"I got this jacket with the wii and bought one of the snug fitting thinner skins. So I use both. The OEM is has much better cushioning so my kids don't hurt each other. Plus, it is much easier to expose the battery cover for those frequent changes" - gadget_guru

I absolutely agree with everything gadget_guru said, and couldn't have said it better myself. I have other jackets and they just have problems. For example, the silicone ones are thin and rip easy; they also are have too much friction and easily collect dirt and other unwanted particles.

This was a needed item for an extra Wii remote and it was a disappointment to order a few Wii remote items and have to pay high shipping and handling for such a light weight item. I searched for these items and come to find out Amazon was not the seller but I did not realize that until I was ready to pay and i did not receive free shipping on my "order" as promised then had to go back and find out why. UH! I ended up paying $19.00 plus for a few items and the shipping & handling was way more than the little items.
